Hamburg is situated between East London and Port-Alfred in Eastern Cape. Hamburg is an enchanting little village that nestles on an exquisite estuary. Unlike the many holiday resorts that line the coastline, it still offers miles of unspoilt wild beach and one of the few locations where you can still do prawn netting and catch large sea crabs that come up the estuary to breed. You can travel by boat up the Keiskamma River for 18 km and along the beaches for 45 km on foot. It is also known for its excellent fishing. In Hamburg you can also find the Keiskamma Art Project.
